Minety Cattery is a small, discreet licensed boarding cattery in a rural location. There are just 10 cabins so each cat receives close individual attention, appreciating their unique character and habits.
Viewing visits are always welcome, by prearranged appointment.
Cat boarders are looked after exclusively by me, the owner, Sarah West: no kennel maids or 'helpers'. I have many years' experience of running a cattery, and can guarantee excellent personal care to ensure the comfort and wellbeing of your cat.
Purpose-built in a sheltered sunny garden, the cattery enjoys a quiet, tranquil atmosphere. Run to the very highest standards of hygiene and safety, all cats have heated insulated cabins and 24 hour access to their own secure spacious runs. Toys, bedding, scratching posts and grooming brushes are provided, but feel free to bring favourite things from home. Minety Cattery is FAB listed: for more information about what this means, please visit their website www.fabcats.org
Cats and kittens of all ages are very welcome, but toms over 8 months old must be neutered. All cats must have a current vaccination certificate against cat flu and infectious enteritis.
A vet will always be on call in the unlikely event your cat becomes unwell: please note that a cat that appears to be ill at the time of arrival may be refused admission.
This is to safeguard all our cat boarders - please have a look at our Terms and Conditions for further information about our policies regarding the health of cats whilst staying at Minety Cattery.
